Mattioli Woods axes ‘small number’ of investment jobs as part of proposition changes

A spokesperson for the company said a ‘small number’ of the investment team have left the business following the restructure.

A spokesperson said: “We have recently announced some changes to our investment proposition as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance and expand our investment solutions for clients.”

Mattioli Woods added that as a result of these changes, aimed at enhancing client outcomes and reducing consumer costs, a “small number” of the investment team have left the business following the restructure, but declined to disclose specific members. 

Dean Cheeseman joins Mattioli Woods in new investment role

Managing director of client solutions Dean Cheeseman, who joined the firm Mattioli Woods in November from Janus Henderson, is leading the restructuring of the firm’s investment proposition, with support from former chair David Kiddie.

“We remain committed to providing our clients with high-quality investment advice and service and have a strong and experienced investment team that will continue to manage our portfolios and execute our investment strategy for clients,” the spokesperson added.
